He has to get dirty down low in the offensive zone, get engaged that way, and get to the inside of the ice more. When he is skating and moving, he is an effective player, but it is too inconsistent."

Maccelli committed a series of turnovers during Friday's loss, and hasn't found his footing with the Maple Leafs, recording four goals and nine points through 22 games. Max Domi and Philippe Myers will re-enter the Maple Leafs lineup for Saturday. Domi was a healthy scratch on Friday for the first time with the team and is viewed as positionally sound but inconsistently engaged; coaches want him more physical and inside in the offensive zone. Domi has three goals and six points in 23 games. Myers has no points in 10 games and last played November 15. Maccelli and Jarnkrok are healthy scratches after turnovers and inconsistent play, and the team is still seeking an optimal lineup 25 games into the season.
