Oliver Ekman-Larsson will play Saturday against the Edmonton Oilers after suffering a lower-body injury Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. Head coach Craig Berube said Ekman-Larsson had to skate before being cleared and confirmed he felt ready. Ekman-Larsson described the injury as a freak incident when a player fell on his left leg and said he recovered quickly. William Nylander and Dakota Joshua missed the morning skate with illness and are game-time decisions. Matias Maccelli filled in on the third line while Nick Robertson skated with Easton Cowan and John Tavares. Projected lineup lists Dennis Hildeby as the starter.
