Hot mic during Canadiens-Canucks game catches player threatening to take another out of the Olympics: 'Keep running your mouth!'

"Hockey is a passionate, physical sport that can sometimes make players hot under the collar, leading them to say things they might later regret. The latest example came during the Montreal Canadiens-Vancouver Canucks game on Saturday night, when a camera trained on Canadiens' young star, Ivan Demidov, caught an awfully mean-spirited comment on a hot mic. "Keep running your mouth and I'll take you right out of the f***in Olympics," threatened an unknown player over the broadcast."

"It's unknown whether Demidov heard or understood the remark, but in the clip, he appears to react strongly to something and looks over to the Canucks bench to his left in shock. There were over a dozen players in the game who could compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics in February.
