Henrik Lundqvist and Wayne Gretzky re-sign multiyear deals with TNT Sports
""I look forward to hanging out with the crew,""
""It's fun to go to Atlanta, when it's TNT, to hang out with the boys and just have fun. We talk about the game, we break down things and what we see and hear, but we'll talk about other things going on.""
Wayne Gretzky and Henrik Lundqvist signed multiyear deals to continue as TNT Sports NHL analysts. Gretzky has been with the network since it acquired U.S. national media rights in 2021, and Lundqvist is entering his fourth year in studio. Gretzky's deal was announced on the eve of the season. Lundqvist said he remains a fan, praised the panel's off-air chemistry, and enjoys traveling to Atlanta to analyze games and socialize with colleagues. Gretzky is the NHL's all-time leading scorer and former long-time goals record-holder; Lundqvist was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2023, won the 2012 Vezina Trophy, and earned 2006 Olympic gold with Sweden.
