The Maple Leafs lost 6-1 to the Utah Mammoth, dropping their record to 23-16-7. The Mammoth dominated early, showing more energy and speed while pressuring the Leafs and limiting space. The Leafs created some early chances, including a first-period lead and a breakaway opportunity, but failed to convert. The second and third Mammoth goals shifted momentum and opened a deficit the Leafs could not recover from. Dennis Hildeby stopped 34 of 40 shots, but the loss is treated as a collective failure. The team will use a scheduled rest day to recover before a road game in Las Vegas.
