"He has a lot of energy out there. He is skating well and is aggressive. It is paying off for him, and he is helping our team on the penalty kill and in a lot of the situations he is put in. We can move him around on different lines at times because he provides energy and skating. He is really on top of things right now with his feet and is scoring some goals for us."
"He's been good. Coming in the other night in Carolina, he closed the door for us in that game and looked very calm and cool in there. Last night, again, he was good. He gave us a chance to win the game. There actually is not right now. He is still not on the ice. I am not sure yet where he is at."
Scott Laughton is playing with energy, skating well, showing aggression, contributing on the penalty kill, moving between lines, and scoring goals. Dennis Hildeby has been calm and effective in relief appearances, closing the door in Carolina and giving the team a chance to win. Anthony Stolarz remains off the ice with no established timeline. Chris Tanev is being evaluated this week with an expected update after Wednesday. Joseph Woll is progressing and likely to be ready in about a week. Practice was made optional to allow rest after a long road trip and low energy. Defensive adjustments have led to more plays being killed and improved team buy-in.
