Scott Laughton returned to Philadelphia, scored shorthanded, and dominated the faceoff circle. Easton Cowan finished the game with the overtime winner after a strong all-night performance. The Cowan-Roy-Robertson line has been effective defensively and at generating offensive-zone possession and interior chances. Goaltender Dennis Hildeby made 22 saves and appeared locked in early.
