2025 Panthers Prospect Profile: Josh Davies
Briefly

Bill Zito, the general manager of the Florida Panthers, selected Josh Davies in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The Panthers acquired this pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets. Davies played 64 games for the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL, recording 36 points. At the 2022 IIHF U18 World Junior Championship, he appeared in three games for Canada. Although unranked before the draft, Davies is praised for his skating, offensive production, and responsible two-way play, possessing speed and agility suited for making quick decisions and plays on ice.
"Davies is an excellent skater and puck carrier. He is a responsible two-way forward who showed that he can both produce offensively and be there to help out in the D-zone as well."
"He is quick, has elite speed and can make plays with the puck with pace. He showed the ability here to make quick decisions under duress and has natural offensive instincts."
