Nelson, a Notre Dame junior and 49th overall pick in 2024, has three goals and three assists through 11 games in a 3-7-1 start. Finley, a Wisconsin junior and 78th overall pick in 2022, has five points and five assists through 11 games after a 40-point sophomore season. The US Collegiate Selects are the first NCAA-based team at the Spengler Cup since 1982. Pool play begins Dec. 26 against Team Canada, with a New Year's Eve final.
