Joe Flacco relocated to Cincinnati after the Bengals acquired him in a trade with the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 7. The 18-year NFL veteran and Super Bowl MVP moved while his wife and five children remained in New Jersey. Flacco has embraced eating alone and described previously feeling sympathy for men who dined solo before appreciating the solitude. He stopped at Allez Café in the Over-The-Rhine district, where a casual fan recognized him. Flacco ordered a side salad and a turkey sandwich on focaccia and sat facing a bar with exposed brick and many plants.
