What's with the new uniforms the Dolphins are wearing Monday night vs. Jets?
"I'm like a little kid, for sure,"
"This is my first year down here so everything was new. I was excited when I got the white helmets and already we've got a new one."
"I think it's dope, "I don't think anything of it too much, but I think it's dope."
Miami Dolphins debuted dark "pitch blue" Rivalries alternate uniforms on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets. The jerseys use a very dark navy blue that can appear nearly black, with traditional aqua on the numbers and sleeves and orange on last names and the "Miami" label over the front numbers. Helmets match the darker color and feature an aqua logo and an orange-lined center stripe. Hard Rock Stadium repainted the midfield logo and end zones to match the altered coloring. Players practiced in the new helmets and expressed excitement. The alternates are part of Nike's Rivalries campaign, and the Jets will wear their alternates on Dec. 7.
