What the Patriots are saying about possibly facing Bengals QB Joe Burrow
""Flacco is a great quarterback, that's why he's been doing it for so long. And then Burrow, a great quarterback," Kuhr said. "Somewhat similar styles how they operate. Obviously, they have some different physical features to them. "As far as game-planning and all that, I don't think much changes," Kuhr added. "They operate the same system. Zac [Taylor] does a good job of keeping the continuity within the scheme. So, I don't think much would change from that.""
""preparing for both""
Joe Burrow was a full participant at practice Wednesday and Thursday, putting him on track for a sooner-than-expected return from a toe injury. The Patriots' acting defensive coordinator Zak Kuhr said the team is preparing for both Burrow and Joe Flacco for Sunday’s game. Joe Flacco has started since being acquired in October, passing for 1,453 yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions while going 1-4 as a starter, and he has practiced in a limited capacity due to a shoulder issue. The Patriots do not expect major schematic changes regardless of which quarterback plays.
