The Patriots turned the ball over on downs and Pittsburgh ran out the clock to win. Quarterback Drake Maye acknowledged he expected pressure and wished he had emphasized catching the ball and getting upfield on the short-yardage play. The Patriots converted four of five fourth-down attempts, with the Douglas play as the lone failed conversion and a point of coaching critique.
