"You're going to get your MVP here in a second."
"especially our quarterback,"
"First off, I just want to thank you guys,"
"You guys have been great all season. Man, wouldn't be here without you guys. What a journey."
Drake Maye missed Friday practice because of an illness and a shoulder injury, yet he attended the Patriots' send-off rally in Foxborough on Sunday. Mike Vrabel called Maye an MVP and beckoned him to center stage while praising the team's players, especially the quarterback. Fans chanted MVP as Maye gave a thumbs-up. Maye thanked the fans for their support, credited them for the season's journey, and said the team's run feels magical but is not finished. The Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
