He became the third rookie in NFL history to post three straight games with at least 250 passing yards and no interceptions. Social-media posts and teammates amplified Shough's case for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Shough was the No. 40 pick in April's draft and faced Titans No. 1 pick Cam Ward in the matchup. Saints coach Kellen Moore praised both quarterbacks as potential long-term, big-time NFL players.
