"I wouldn't say one of the toughest,"
"At the end of the day, we know we're going to get man coverage. We've gotta beat it. It's that simple. We're going to do the same things we've been doing. At the end of the day, we want to make them try to adjust to how we play. They're not too complicated on defense. Not too many different looks. We get a good tell at what they're doing. But just being us."
"Obviously, [Houston has] a good unit," Boutte said. "No. 1 ranked defense, whatever you want to say. But I mean, we're a good offense too. We're not"
Kayshon Boutte said he wouldn't describe the Texans' defense as one of the toughest he's prepared for in his three-year NFL career. He expects Houston to play man coverage and emphasized the Patriots must beat it by executing their offensive plan. The Texans finished the regular season first in total defense (277.2 yards allowed per game) and second in scoring defense (17.4 points allowed per game). MatchQuarters identified Houston as the least diverse in scheme usage and ranked them 32nd in blitz rate. The Texans rely on elite pass rushers Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, who combined for 28.5 sacks.
