"I think one thing that happened a little bit to Arch is the game can mount on you, and you feel like, oh man, we're not scoring, or I missed a read or I missed a throw. Arch Manning acknowledged he was not good enough in Texas' 14-7 loss to Ohio State, saying he holds himself to a high standard and must lead better. Manning completed 17 of 30 passes for 170 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his first road start and first start against a ranked opponent. Coach Steve Sarkisian said he told Manning at halftime not to press, noting the score remained 0-0 and praising Texas' defense. Manning settled in during the second half as Texas gained 260 yards but the Longhorns scored only seven points.
