C.J. Anderson celebrated his 25th birthday a few days early while far from his hometown of Vallejo, surrounded by family and friends and thousands of fans in attendance. Anderson became the first Vallejoan to win a Super Bowl, performing on the biggest stage in front of 71,088 fans and a massive television audience. He recalled vivid childhood memories of past Super Bowl heroes and moments. Anderson had previously appeared in a Super Bowl with minimal playing time, and his later Super Bowl appearance offered a larger role and different experiences in New York City.
