Marcus Jones signed a three-year contract extension with the New England Patriots and was named AFC Defensive Player of the Month. Jones made a key interception of Josh Allen in the upset over the Bills and contributed in the run game and on blitzes. He is tied for second on the team in tackles for loss with six, ranks fourth on the team with 36 tackles, and leads Patriots defensive backs in tackles. Coaches praised his consistent work ethic, leadership and embodiment of the team's identity. Jones also participated in a Halloween charity event for children battling cancer.
