"Kraft was on pace for more than 70 catches and 1,100 yards, which would have been the best marks by a tight end in Packers history."
Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL in his right knee during the Packers' 16-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers, ending his breakout season. Tests on Monday confirmed the ACL tear. Kraft had been on pace for more than 70 catches and 1,100 yards, which would have been the best single-season marks by a Packers tight end. The injury occurred while blocking on a running play and appeared to involve a cut block that drove another player's helmet into Kraft's knees. Luke Musgrave and John FitzPatrick are expected to take on larger offensive roles. Coach Matt LaFleur said the team must put players in positions to showcase their abilities.
