Shedeur, despite struggles, expects roster spot
Briefly

Shedeur Sanders expressed confidence about making the Cleveland Browns' 53-man roster despite a difficult preseason outing. Sanders completed 3-of-6 passes for 14 yards, was sacked five times and produced one first down in five series against the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns' quarterback room includes veterans Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Tyler Huntley plus rookie Dillon Gabriel. General manager Andrew Berry indicated keeping up to four quarterbacks is a likely option. The Browns won the game 19-17.
