Ravens believe QB Jackson will play vs. Steelers
"I just give him a lot of credit - he's battling each week trying to get healthy enough to be able to play every Sunday,"
"I mean, that's what I see out of him. I see a guy that's battling little nagging injuries, things that are stopping him from being able to get out there every day and practice."
"hard to judge"
Offensive coordinator Todd Monken expects Lamar Jackson to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite Jackson missing Thursday's practice with an ankle injury. Jackson was limited Wednesday and did not participate Thursday, marking the fourth straight week he has missed at least one practice. Jackson has gone three straight games without a touchdown, a career-worst stretch, and in the recent loss to the Bengals he had three turnovers and a 53.1% completion rate (17-of-32). Monken called it "hard to judge" how missed practice time has affected Jackson. Jackson has dealt with hamstring, knee, toe and ankle injuries this season, and tight end Mark Andrews indicated support during Jackson's struggles.
