The Los Angeles Rams acquired Roger McCreary from the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick while the Rams received a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick along with McCreary. McCreary, a 2022 second-round pick, is in the final season of his rookie contract and has primarily played in the slot this season with experience outside. The Rams sought to bolster cornerback depth after Ahkello Witherspoon broke his clavicle in Week 2 and went to injured reserve, prompting a rotation of Cobie Durant, Emmanuel Forbes Jr. and Darious Williams outside. Quentin Lake has played in the slot but depth behind him is limited.
