Washington replaced offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury with David Blough after the season. The offense will look different under Blough, who plans to run more plays from under center to help quarterback Jayden Daniels evolve. The team ran an NFL-low 192 under-center plays the last two years, 158 fewer than the next-lowest team, and Daniels attempted only 18 passes from under center in his first two seasons. Daniels was the 2024 offensive rookie of the year with 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 891 rushing yards. Injuries limited him this season and reduced his playing time.
