""I was turnt," Woodson said. "Obviously I got hit pretty hard but I was grateful, God is good, this is something that I've been wanting, an interception, so just happy that it finally happened.""
""I've always had that," Woodson said. "I've always wanted to be the one hitting people, tackling since my Cal days. You can look at the tape. That's all I was doing out there, running around making plays, hitting people, getting people on the ground. That was my strong suit.""
Craig Woodson is the Patriots' leading tackler through two postseason games with 16 tackles and finished fourth on the team in the regular season with 79. He recorded his first playoff interception when the ball bounced off Xavier Hutchinson and he was hit hard by Texans running back Woody Marks. Woodson played 93 percent of the Patriots' defensive snaps this season, the most of any Patriots defensive rookie since Devin McCourty in 2010. He was the highest graded rookie last week in PFF's rankings. Nicknamed "The Eraser" at Cal, Woodson is known for his tackling ability and consistent play.
