Patriots unveil new uniforms, and the reviews are shockingly split
Briefly

The New England Patriots revealed a Nike Rivalries alternate uniform to be worn on November 13 against the Jets. The design features a slate-blue color scheme and a matte white helmet. Fan reaction has been mixed, with criticism that the blue does not represent Patriots tradition and resembles the Titans. Outside New England, reactions include high rankings and positive assessments. An NFL Spinzone analyst ranked the uniform second-best, calling it an "elite" alternate and praising the gray-blue color, shoulder stripes, "NE" sleeve logo, number font, and red accents on the pants.
This is an elite -- elite -- alternate uniform. The gray-blue color is absolutely done to perfection, and the balance here is out of this world. The stripes on the shoulder, the "NE" logo on the sleeve, the number font, the pops of red on the pants... It all adds up for the Patriots here. This is a 10/10 with no notes from me.
Instead, Nike opted for a slate blue with a matte white helmet look, which continues to receive mixed reactions from fans. The biggest gripe appears to be that the shade of blue chosen is not one that reflects the Patriots whatsoever, and tends to lean more toward the Titans instead. However, that hasn't changed what many others outside New England think about the new look, as they are already being ranked highly by non-Patriots fans already.
