Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson named NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month

"Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson is the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for November, the league announced Thursday afternoon. It' the first time a New England player has earned rookie of the month honors since cornerback Christian Gonzalez in September of 2023. New England won all four of their games in November, and Henderson took on an increased role with Antonio Gibson out for the season and Rhamondre Stevenson battling nagging injuries."

"Henderson scored five touchdowns in four games during November. He tallied 330 yards on 65 carries for an average of 5.1 yards per carry. He's the sixth Patriots player to win rookie of the month honors. The others are: Gonzalez (September 2023), QB Mac Jones (November 2021), DE Chandler Jones (September 2012), LB Jerod Mayo (October 2008) and WR Deion Branch (September 2002)."

"Henderson had never topped 50 percent of the Patriots' offensive snap counts until the Nov. 2 win against Atlanta. He had four straight games of being on the field for at least 64 percent of the Patriots' offensive snaps until the streak was broken last week against the Giants. Henderson has 625 rushing yards through 13 games. The Patriots, who are on their bye week, are set to return to action on Dec. 14 against the Bills."
