Nike selected the Patriots for a Rivalries uniform release for the 2025 NFL season, their first new uniform combination in years. Fans created mockups in anticipation, and a leaked image circulated on social media earlier in the month. The leaked design showed a matte white helmet, silver facemask and a bluish/grayish jersey with block numbers and tapered shoulder stripes. Many fans reacted negatively, noting the colors resembled the Tennessee Titans rather than New England. A subsequent discovery on the Patriots Pro Shop listing an icy blue hat reinforced the impression that the team will wear the icy blue combination this fall.
Some had come up with mocks of what they might look like, so when a leak seemed to make the rounds on social media earlier this month, it didn't receive the kind of response that the brand was likely hoping for. In fact, a majority of Patriots fans were displeased with the color choice, as the jerseys appeared to be more similar to what the Tennessee Titans currently wear than anything that remotely represented New England.

They then hoped that other mock-ups would become a reality, but based on what appears to be the latest leak just hours before the new uniforms are unveiled, it's looking more likely that the icy blue combination is what the Patriots will wear this fall.
