"Going to get some extra rest. I really don't think it was from the game, but just the build-up from throwing -- this is what, including training camp, 30 weeks of straight of throwing, four days a week. It can add up. I got some extra rest, feeling good, and ready to go for the Super Bowl."
"a lot of those guys in that locker room are battling through things."
"no player is 100% healthy at this time of year."
New England submitted an injury report listing quarterback Drake Maye as limited for Wednesday's practice before Super Bowl LX because of a banged-up right shoulder. Starting linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle) and edge rusher Harold Landry (knee) were listed as not practicing. Maye sustained shoulder trauma when tackled by Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga after a 13-yard run and acknowledged bumps and bruises. He completed 10 of 21 passes for 86 yards, was sacked five times, and rushed 10 times for 65 yards with a touchdown in the AFC Championship. Backup Joshua Dobbs would take any missed repetitions; Tommy DeVito is third on the depth chart.
