"After taking some time to reflect over the last few weeks, I have made the decision to step down as the assistant head coach and special teams coordinator of the Green Bay Packers,"
"I am incredibly grateful to Matt LaFleur, Brian Gutekunst, Ed Policy and Mark Murphy for their unwavering trust and support throughout my time in Green Bay. I am also thankful to the players for their consistent work and relentless effort to improve every single day. I would like to thank everyone in the organization for their dedication and commitment. The people in this building make it a special place to work."
Rich Bisaccia announced his resignation as assistant head coach and special teams coordinator for the Green Bay Packers after serving since 2022. He was hired to address special teams issues that included a blocked field goal and punt in the prior season's playoff loss. Bisaccia was promoted to assistant head coach in 2023 and previously served as the Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach in 2021. His departure follows defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley leaving to become the Miami Dolphins head coach. The Packers hired Jonathan Gannon to replace Hafley. Bisaccia coached successful performers like punter Daniel Whelan and returner Keisean Nixon, though some special teams mistakes persisted. Bisaccia's top assistant Byron Storer earlier left for Cleveland.
