Packers' Love: No worry about rust after absence
""No, it doesn't really,""
""I think still just practicing all week, staying locked in. Obviously suited up last week, was ready to go. But yeah, you know, it's been a couple weeks, but no it doesn't feel like that just staying with it in practice.""
""He looked good," LaFleur said of Love's practices the last couple of weeks. "He had, I would say, a pretty normal workload, so he looked good.""
""My body coming into this game is the best I've felt probably in the last six weeks," Jacobs said. "So, it's pretty go"
Jordan Love suffered a concussion in the second quarter of the Week 16 overtime loss to the Bears and missed the final two regular-season games, creating a three-week gap before the NFC wild-card game. Love practiced throughout the layoff, was limited for several days, cleared concussion protocol last week, suited up for the regular-season finale, and was held out to reduce injury risk entering the playoffs. Coach Matt LaFleur said Love looked good and logged a pretty normal workload in recent practices. Running back Josh Jacobs and other starters were rested late in the season, leaving Jacobs feeling healthier entering the playoff game.
