He closely resembles New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, a similarity first noticed by his aunt during the Patriots' preseason. A TikTok posted by his workplace went viral and prompted widespread comparisons and comments. The attention produced moments like a stranger asking about the resemblance after a minor car accident and frequent recognition in stores and at work as the Super Bowl approaches. Dumas says the attention boosted his confidence but that he intends to remain himself. He is a longtime Patriots fan.
