"Since the New England Patriots' Super Bowl loss, the team's rookie left tackle, Will Campbell, has been a popular topic of conversation. Campbell struggled throughout the postseason, especially in the Super Bowl, prompting criticism of his performance and debate over his future in the league. Amongst all of the noise was some constructive criticism from NFL linemen who have navigated the journey Campbell is on. One of those linemen was the recently retired Terron Armstead."
"Wolfe relayed that Armstead believes Campbell's struggles stem from issues with his set and punch timing. That's when Wolfe revealed that Armstead is volunteering to work out with Campbell this summer. Will Campbell should absolutely jump at this opportunity. Armstead was drafted in the third round of the 2013 Draft out of an FCS school by the New Orleans Saints and developed into one of the top offensive linemen of the last decade."
Will Campbell, the Patriots' rookie left tackle, struggled throughout the postseason and particularly in the Super Bowl, prompting criticism and debate over his NFL future. Several NFL linemen offered constructive criticism and guidance. Terron Armstead defended Campbell and identified flaws in Campbell's set and punch timing, saying arm length is not the issue. Armstead invited Campbell to train with him in Dallas during the offseason to address those technical problems. Armstead was a third-round pick in 2013 out of an FCS school, became a top offensive lineman, played nine seasons with the Saints and three with the Dolphins, earned five Pro Bowl selections and was a second-team All-Pro in 2018.
