NFL insider: Maxx Crosby wants to play for Mike Vrabel, Patriots
""You guys are back on the map as a place that the players want to be because they're watching it, they're seeing it.""
""That's what I want to see. Maxx Crosby doesn't seem too happy in Las Vegas. Is he going to ask for one officially and ask out? Is that a guy? I can tell you, I know he wants to play for Mike Vrabel. He's told me before.""
Jay Glazer indicated that Maxx Crosby may have played his final game with the Las Vegas Raiders and suggested Crosby is ready for a change. Dianna Russini noted Crosby appears unhappy in Las Vegas and might seek a trade, and she reported Crosby has expressed interest in playing for coach Mike Vrabel. The New England Patriots have the salary-cap room to absorb Crosby's contract, which runs through 2029 and carries a $35.8 million cap hit next season. Crosby, age 28, has recorded 69.5 sacks in 110 career games. Trade compensation and fit remain uncertain.
