First-year head coach Mike Vrabel started weekly Monday interviews ahead of the Patriots' 2025 season opener. He attended a Morgan Wallen concert at Gillette Stadium and recalled seeing Wallen perform in a 1,200-person warehouse in 2019. Rob Gronkowski joined Wallen for a walkout and spiked a guitar. Vrabel addressed reports about wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk possibly needing season-ending surgery and expressed frustration about information leaks. He used the term "rats" to describe leak sources and said he wanted to find out where reports originated while downplaying an extensive internal investigation.
