Meyers' future with Raiders unclear amid talks
Briefly

Jakobi Meyers is in the final year of his contract with the Las Vegas Raiders and is uncertain if a new deal will be reached. He requested a trade after both sides failed to agree before the season opener, but the team denied the request. Meyers has a 2025 base salary of $10.5 million with a $14.98 million cap hit and no remaining guaranteed money on his three-year, $33 million deal. He practiced through the dispute, declined a holdout because of teammates, and said both he and the team are evaluating the fit moving forward.
"I don't even know, to be honest," Meyers said Wednesday. "...I ain't tripping. If they don't, I'm gonna be good regardless."
"They are looking at me to see if they want me here. I'm looking at them to see if I want to be around them," Meyers said. "We are all kind of doing the same thing, and we're gonna see how it plays out."
"If it wasn't for them, I probably would've done the same thing everybody else did," Meyers said. "But you've got to find a way to separate yourself from all the business."
"Jakobi and I have had a lot of great conversations since I've gotten here about many different things," Spytek said.
