Frankie Luvu was fined $100,000 for a hip-drop tackle on Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba after receiving two earlier fines this season, which initially led to a one-game suspension. Derrick Brooks overturned the suspension on appeal, saving Luvu a $508,333 game check. Luvu said he feels like the NFL has a "target on my back" but will continue to play fast, physical and downhill. Luvu and his agent Blake Baratz defended his intent and reputation, stressing that he does not seek to hurt opponents and portrays passion, physicality and respect.
