""Man, I've been trying to get my hand on the ball all year," Nixon said. "I wanted that bad. I wanted it so bad. So I'm thankful for it, for sure.""
""I'll say he was saving my butt on this play," said Williams, who said intended receiver Cole Kmet was his responsibility. "Was praying that somebody was behind me to make the play on the corner, and sure enough, like, Jesus himself, [No.] 25 comes out the blue and makes a play, I was just like thank you, thank you so much.""
Keisean Nixon had 14 pass breakups entering Week 14 but no interceptions until a leaping end-zone pick on fourth-and-1 sealed a 28-21 win over the Chicago Bears. The interception occurred on a Caleb Williams pass from the Packers' 14 and secured Green Bay's move into first place in the NFC North at 9-3-1, ahead of the Bears at 9-4. Prior to Nixon's pick, only safeties Evan Williams (three), Xavier McKinney (two) and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (one) had interceptions for the Packers this season. Nixon was penalized earlier in the game and expressed strong relief and gratitude after finally making the play, while teammates praised his timely effort.
