Chen alleges an anonymous email accused Elhai of sending inappropriate texts and other misconduct, and that the organization targeted employees who supported the allegations or sought an investigation. Chen says Fitzpatrick was interrogated and fired after confirming the claims. The Jets say the accusations were investigated and deemed baseless and plan to countersue for defamation and libel.
