Jets QB Justin Fields looks better with feet than arm
Briefly

Justin Fields' performance at the scrimmage showed struggles as a passer, completing just two of ten passes and experiencing difficulty in the pocket. However, he salvaged his day with two rushing touchdowns, one of which was an impressive run through traffic. The Jets' starting offense did not score a passing touchdown, and the defense dominated most of the plays. Injuries were reported for three players during the scrimmage, adding to the team’s concerns moving forward. Coach Aaron Glenn praised the running backs for their efforts in the game.
"I think we saw exactly what he's going to create when it comes to him using his feet. There are some balls that we have to catch that he threw to some guys, and there's some throws he's got to make too that were out there."
"I thought our running backs today did a hell of a job, a hell of a job," Glenn said.
"One of Fields' scores was an iffy one as he darted for a 25-yard gain against a defense that gave half-hearted effort to stop him out of respect for his red non-contact jersey."
"The starting offense's only other touchdown came on a 9-yard run by Breece Hall."
