Denver opened the 2025 season with a 20-12 victory over the Tennessee Titans despite quarterback Bo Nix committing three turnovers. Nix finished 25-of-40 for 176 yards and a touchdown to Courtland Sutton and lost a fumble on a Jeffery Simmons sack, his first since 2021. Coach Sean Payton emphasized the value of an impactful running game and a defense that forces the issue. Denver's defense repeatedly helped the offense out of difficult situations, and the offense leaned on the run late to secure the win. Nix said he is tougher on himself about turnovers and aims to limit them.
