Glenn: Jets owner behind me despite struggles
"I do know there's a belief in me,"
"I do know I believe in him and that's why I'm glad I took this job is because of ownership and what he's about, what (general manager Darren Mougey) is about and what this organization is about."
"I always talk about how we come out and we play with effort. Today was probably one time I feel like our effort wasn't as good I would want to be," Glenn said. "And that's just me not BSing you guys."
The New York Jets endured a historically poor December, reaching 13 losses for the fifth time in franchise history and producing a minus-107 point differential, the worst in NFL December history. The Jets were outscored 153-46 in four losses this month and became the second team in the Super Bowl era to lose four straight games by 23-plus points. Owner Woody Johnson appears committed to coach Aaron Glenn for 2026 after Glenn signed a five-year contract last January. Glenn publicly questioned the team's effort after a 42-10 loss to the Patriots and expressed continued belief in ownership and the front office.
