The offense produced a franchise-low -10 net passing yards, the worst team passing output in nearly 30 years. Justin Fields completed nine of 17 passes for 45 yards and lost 55 yards on nine sacks. Conservative playcalling by offensive coordinator Tannen Engstrand and occasional pass-protection breakdowns contributed to the futility. Fields faced pressure on 14 of 29 dropbacks (48%) per Next Gen Stats and held the ball too long at times. Garrett Wilson had three catches for 13 yards, questioned playcalling, and suffered a knee ligament injury pending MRI.
