Jeremy Greer, a 26-year-old out New England Patriots cheerleader who uses he/they pronouns, went viral after a victory dance following the Patriots' 16-3 playoff win over the Los Angeles Chargers on January 10. Video of Greer performing on the sideline amassed millions of views across social media, elevating him as a visible male presence on the Patriots squad. Greer was inspired by Driss Dallahi, one of the first men to make the Patriots cheer team, and said he wants to be a trailblazer and inspiration for others. Greer will perform on the Super Bowl LX sideline when the Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks.
