"Per the release, police responding to a welfare check at a Frisco residence at 5:40 am local time on Dec. 16 heard gunshots from inside the residence. After setting up a perimeter and evacuating several other residences, police officers saw a second-story window break and a suspect -- later identified as the 30-year-old Jack -- climb out and fall to the ground."

Myles Jack was arrested in Frisco, Texas, after police responding to a welfare check heard gunshots inside a residence on Dec. 16. Officers established a perimeter, evacuated nearby residences, and saw a second-story window break as Jack climbed out and fell to the ground. He was arrested at 7:12 am and treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The Denton County Sheriff's Office charged him with deadly conduct/discharge of a firearm, a third-degree felony, and misdemeanor discharge of a firearm in certain municipalities. Jack played six seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and two with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He and his mother purchased the ECHL Allen Americans in 2023 and are investors in Zawyer Sports.
