Dolphins schedule second interview with Packers' Jeff Hafley, report says
"The Dolphins have a committee of seven that is charged with hiring the head coach - Sullivan, owner Steve Ross, president Tom Garfinkel, Brandon Shore, senior vice president of football and business administration, Dan Sillman, Ross' son-in-law and an executive for Relevant, a global sports and media right organization under Ross' corporate umbrella, Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman and Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino."
"The Dolphins are believed to have contacted 11 candidates for head coach - Hafley, John Harbaugh (ex-Baltimore coach), Kevin Stefanski (ex-Cleveland coach), Robert Saleh (San Francisco defensive coordinator), Chris Shula (Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator), Jesse Minter (Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator), Patrick Graham (Las Vegas defensive coordinator), Anthony Campanile Jacksonville defensive coordinator), Kelvin Sheppard (Detroit defensive coordinator), Klint Kubiak (Seattle offensive coordinator) and Joe Brady (Buffalo offensive coordinator)."
The Miami Dolphins are scheduling in-person head-coach interviews early in the week, with Green Bay defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley set for a second interview after a first meeting on Wednesday. Hafley worked with general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan in Green Bay since 2024. A seven-member committee — Sullivan, owner Steve Ross, president Tom Garfinkel, Brandon Shore, Dan Sillman, Troy Aikman and Dan Marino — is overseeing the search. The team has contacted 11 candidates and completed interviews with Klint Kubiak, Kevin Stefanski, Jesse Minter, Robert Saleh, Chris Shula and Anthony Campanile. Seven of the ten candidates besides John Harbaugh have defensive backgrounds. Mike McDaniel was fired on Jan. 8; his regular-season record was 35-33 and overall 35-35.
