
"Being able to travel internationally and visit different cultures, I think, is a cool thing," Tagovailoa said. "Not just with the food, with the language, with the people, as well. Coach Mike McDaniel opened a pre-practice news conference in Madrid greeting reporters in Spanish with "¿Qué tal?" The Dolphins arrived in Madrid ahead of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, part of the NFL’s first game in Spain. Players spent Tuesday sightseeing, sampling Spanish cuisine, shopping and visiting landmarks. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa logged about 20,000 steps and was taken aback by a Spanish reporter’s remark about his early prominence. Some players, including Bradley Chubb, guided teammates to familiar spots they had visited previously. The team prepared for practice and the upcoming game.
