The Dolphins allowed Indianapolis to score on all seven of its offensive possessions Sunday, while their 211 yards of offense marked their lowest total under coach Mike McDaniel in a game which quarterback Tua Tagovailoa starts."

Miami Dolphins players held a players-only meeting on the team's off day after a 33-8 Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts to ensure they were on the same page. The Colts scored on all seven offensive possessions and the Dolphins produced 211 yards, the lowest total under coach Mike McDaniel in a game Tua Tagovailoa started. Tagovailoa completed 14-of-23 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown, threw two interceptions, lost a fumble and posted the worst full-game passer rating of his career. Tagovailoa organized the meeting, was pleased with turnout and said the offense communicated points of emphasis and process for the week. The team began last season 2-6 and finished 8-9, missing the AFC playoffs by two games.
