The Cowboys plan to start Kaiir Elam opposite DaRon Bland and are expected to activate Caelen Carson from injured reserve to make his season debut. Dallas' defense ranks last in yards allowed and 31st in points allowed, and coaches plan more man-to-man coverage, a Diggs strength, while stressing execution against a strong Commanders offense.
