"For me, it was just about keeping the fans in tune, giving them momentum, making it loud and creating chaos,"
"Also, it energizes the defense. Energy is contagious, so you've got to continue to promote it."
"The defense stood tall multiple times to give us chances,"
"You could feel that momentum kind of swing in our favor. I thought that really did change the outcome of the game."
At Arrowhead Stadium the Colts led by 11 points early in the fourth quarter and appeared to be in control. Chris Jones repeatedly signaled to energize teammates and disrupted a Colts running play, leading to Jonathan Taylor being tackled behind the line of scrimmage. Jones and Steve Spagnuolo's defense dominated much of the game, forcing four consecutive three-and-outs in the fourth quarter and overtime. The Chiefs mounted a comeback to win 23-20. Patrick Mahomes credited the defense for swinging momentum. Jonathan Taylor, the NFL's leading rusher entering the game, was limited to 58 rushing yards.
